On Tuesday, April 23, after an engaging day at ITS America, Rekor hosted a reception at the incredible Heard Museum. Guests relaxed over cocktails and tacos in the historic South Courtyard to a serenade of live harp music. It was an evening of great conversations with stakeholders, partners and clients, current and future.

Rekor’s Shobhit Jain, Senior Vice President of Product Management, was honored to join the “Creating Safer Roads with AI and Deep Learning” panel discussion on April 25th. Shobhit was joined on the stage by leaders from AWS, Axis Communications, NVIDIA and Zensors.

The session brought together computer vision experts to discuss the evolving landscape of data collection and processing, emphasizing hybrid approaches involving cloud, on-premises, and edge computing. Focused on enhancing traffic data efficiency for transportation professionals, the session addresses the data gap in public transportation, advocating a shift to AI-automated processes.
