Rekor Command and Rekor Discover Take Center Stage at Booth #1021

At the heart of Rekor’s participation was our exhibit at Booth #1021, where we showcased our flagship roadway intelligence solutions: Rekor Command™ and Rekor Discover™. These cutting-edge technologies drew significant attention from attendees eager to learn how Rekor’s non-intrusive data-driven approach is revolutionizing traffic management and urban mobility, enhancing roadway safety, and enabling smarter infrastructure decisions.

Rekor Command™ provides transportation agencies a way to take command of their roadways with real-time, AI-driven event detection, roadway response, and advanced analytics, enhancing Traffic Incident Management (TIM) timelines, improving traffic flow, minimize the risk of secondary accidents, decrease operational costs, boost efficiency, and enhance safety.

Rekor Discover™ provides powerful and comprehensive roadway leveraging non-intrusive, video-based Edge systems to automate traffic and vehicle ground-truth data, including 13-bin vehicle classification, vehicle speeds, vehicle volumes, air quality, electric vehicle statistics and more. Throughout the conference, our team engaged with new and existing clients, partners, and industry leaders. These discussions highlighted the growing demand for intelligent transportation solutions and reinforced Rekor’s position as a trusted partner in addressing these challenges.

Advancing Research with Poster Presentation on Traffic Incident Persistence

Rekor’s commitment to innovation was further exemplified by our participation in the poster session on Tuesday, January 7th, from 1:30 to 3:15 PM. William Mills, Data Science Manager, presented the poster titled Real-Time Prediction of Traffic Incident Persistence. This research, conducted by Rekor Data Science Team Lead Aviv Gruber and Data Scientist Tal Katz Ratz, showcased Rekor’s advancements in predictive analytics for traffic incident management.

Predicting traffic incident durations is crucial for effective traffic management and resource allocation. The research introduced a Bayesian Network (BN) model designed to estimate incident durations using a diverse dataset from multiple states and incorporating multiple variables. The model provided a robust and flexible framework for predicting traffic incident durations, that could contribute to improved traffic incident management and road network efficiency.
